Singapore Trip

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Right after our stay in Malaysia we took one of those executive class buses and headed towards neighboring Singapore. Since we got one of those red eye trips from Kuala Lumpur, it took us less than 5 hours to reach our destination. I imagine it could have taken a bit longer if it was the normal day trip.

Since we arrived long before dawn, it was decided that we take a cab and head for an open 24-hour McDonald’s (or “madonna” as Jhed hears it) to get some early breakfast. From there, we informed our hosts of our arrival. In less than an hour, we find ourselves inside and appreciating the newly furnished Guzman residence in Singapore.

Once again, our itinerary seems longer than the expected time we would be spending in the country. Due to the limited time we had, our schedule had to be re-arranged and re-prioritized practically everyday. We had to cancel and put off most of the items on our list of places to go. Aside from meeting up with some of our Singapore-based friends, one of the major items in our to-do list is ride the Singapore Flyer. Since we missed the Eye on Malaysia, my kumpadres were very excited for this experience.

For some reason, I rarely lugged around my camera for this part of our trip. So we (or should i say Jhed and Angel) ended up with only a few pictures from our adventures. Here are some of them.

Malaysia Trip

Saturday, April 11th, 2009

I just had a short peek at some of the latest pictures in my raw image archive or Ria as I affectionately call my precious shiny black hard drive. :-)

With just the first set of photos viewed, and memories from my recent trip to Malaysia already comes to mind; not to mention the people asking for their pictures. So as penitence of sort, I spent most of my holy week processing raw images. When finished, I’ll have a gallery posted on my multiply site. But for now, here are some of the initial images from my Ria.
