Peace through music!

Is it really possible?

Numerous studies have been done that states living beings (not exclusive to humans) react to the various effects of music. Consequently, there are; and have already been a lot of movements, major events and worldwide groups that attempted to literally give peace a chance using the universal language we call music.

Earlier this week, I saw a feature on tv about this new up and rising group thats currently hitting the news due to their very inspiring projects. The group’s movement is branded as Playing For Change. And they already created a number of videos stating their advocacy and showcasing their actual endeavors. Their first music video effectively exhibits their combined talent as they mix various renditions of the song Stand by Me to send out a meaningful message.

As with most or the rest of their music videos, this one attempts to prove that with the right amount of dedication and directed intentions, it is so easy these days to bridge our physical distance and diverse cultures.   :-)
